- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 cup white corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup peanuts
- 5 quarts popped popcorn
- Heat oven to 250 degrees.
- Bring to a boil: corn syrup, vinegar and brown sugar. Let boil for approximately 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add baking soda, vanilla and peanuts.
- Pour over popcorn and stir.
- Place popcorn mixture onto cookie sheets and bake for one hour. Stir every 15 minutes while baking
- Cool before serving.
