Carbo’s Turtle Pie
1 Graham or Chocolate ready-made pie crust
1 bar of Cream Cheese
1 tub of Cool Whip
3 oz of pecan pieces
1 bag of chocolate chips (to be melted)
1/2 cup of caramel topping
Take the chocolate and microwave for about 45 seconds … then add the cream cheese bar atop it and microwave again for 45 seconds. Take out and stir. Continue this process for another 15 seconds (if needed) until everything is smooth. Be cautious to not let it stay in the microwave too long or it will scorch.
Add one tub of cool whip to the microwaved mixture. Add pecan pieces and fold together. First add the caramel topping next spread the cream mixture into ready-made pie crust.
Place in refrigerator for a few hours – you may garnish with chocolate shavings or walnut pieces also.
